Every system and part is tested to OEM specification before it reaches you, from the moment it arrives at our facility to the moment it ships.
Every system that arrives at Allegiant, regardless of whether it was purchased for harvest or for resale, is immediately inventoried. It's then staged in one of our test bays, where a battery of tests confirms every component meets or exceeds OEM specifications, benchmarked directly against the installation quality manual.
If any component doesn't meet standard, it's replaced. The substandard or defective part is marked unsellable and routed to a repair queue for further analysis rather than making its way into inventory. Every test we run is documented, and we retain those results.
Once a system designated for harvest has completed full testing, it's removed from the test bay and harvesting begins. We follow a strict, repeatable process to ensure every part is removed correctly and arrives ready to be reinstalled without issue at a customer's site.
After removal, parts are cleaned and properly packaged, with ESD protection applied wherever it's needed. Parts are then entered into our inventory system, giving our sales team full visibility into what's sellable and ready to quote.
When a parts request comes in, here's exactly what happens between approval and delivery.
If the part is in stock, we quote it. Once the quote is approved, it moves to the warehouse for fulfillment.
The warehouse team picks the part and runs a final QC pass. Any batteries or fuses are tested for proper voltage or continuity.
The part gets a final wipe-down and is blown off with an aerosol duster, then photographed from multiple angles.
The part is packaged into a new box or crate and prepped for shipment, ready to travel without damage.
The part ships out, arriving ready to install and get your scanner back up and running as soon as possible.

For equipment sales, we offer different levels of refurbishment, but every Toshiba/Canon system, regardless of refurb level, is QA tested to ensure it meets OEM specifications before it ships. Systems are staged in one of our test bays, and every major system is tested against OEM spec. Any part found not performing properly is replaced during this process.
Once testing is complete, the system moves out of staging for final preparation. If a customer wants covers repainted, they're removed and sent to a professional paint shop before final assembly. Otherwise, we move directly into wiping down and properly packing the system for transit.
